گروه پژوهشی پزشکی بازساختی و زیست فناوری در ترمیم زخم، متشکل از سه محور اصلی فعالیتی بیوتکنولوژی (Biotechnology)، زیست مواد و مهندسی بافت (Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering) و زیست پزشکی (Biomedical Science) می باشد که با هدف توسعه و تلفیق فناوریهای نوین زیستی در حوزه ترمیم زخم و بافت طراحی شده است.
- مهندسی بیوپلیمرهای پیشرفته و زیستمواد و کاربردهای بینرشتهای آنها در پزشکی
- توسعه و تولید پانسمانهای بیولوژیک، سنتتیک و هوشمند با هدف کاربرد در طب ترمیمی و پزشکی بازساختی
- ساخت میکروکپسول در سامانههای دارورسانی
- توسعه و تولید پروتئینهای نوترکیب با هدف بازسازی بافتهای آسیبدیده، تسریع روند ترمیم زخم و تولید محصولات زیستفناورانه مرتبط
- شناسایی ژنها، مسیرهای سیگنالینگ سلولی-مولکولی و پروتئینهای کلیدی دخیل در فرآیند ترمیم زخم و بافت
- سلول درمانی و استفاده از مشتقات سلولی و بافتی موثر در ترمیم زخم و بافت
- سازماندهی و توسعه فناوریهای پایه و پیشرفته مرتبط با حوزههای بیوتکنولوژی، زیست پزشکی و مهندسی بافت
- ارائه دانش فنی و توسعه تکنیکهای نوین مرتبط با ترمیم زخم بویژه زخمهای مزمن و مقاوم به درمان
- استانداردسازی و انجام کارآزمایی بالینی بویژه در حوزههای طب ترمیمی و پزشکی بازساختی
- انتقال دانش فنی و فناوریهای بومی کسب شده به حوزه صنعت (شرکتهای دانش بنیان، صندوق های سرمایه گذاری و سایر مراکز درمانی)
- مشاوره علمی و همکاری با سایر مراکز درمانی، پژوهشی، دانشگاهی و شرکتهای دانش بنیان
- راهنمایی پایاننامههای دانشجویان در رشتههای مرتبط با فعالیت گروه
- اجرای کارآزمایی های پیش بالینی و بالینی
- تولید و توسعه دانش فنی مرتبط با حوزه طب ترمیمی و پزشکی بازساختی
- برگزاری دورهها، سمپوزیومها، کنگرهها و کارگاههای مختلف ملی و بینالمللی
